How we will clean your carpets:
Pre-Inspection:
Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect
the carpet. They will identify potential permanent stains and give you
an evaluation of expected results. They will provide you with a written
price quote that you can review and approve before any work commences.
Commercial Pre-Vacuuming: Dry soil is removed by a thorough vacuuming. Did you know that 80% of the soil in your carpet is located in the lower 2/3rds of the carpet? The only way to remove this dirt is through proper vacuuming. If the carpet is cleaned without proper pre-vacuuming then the soil in the bottom of the carpets is never removed! This is why IICRC certified professional carpet cleaners ALWAYS pre-vacuum before cleaning. This is a very important step that most carpet cleaners neglect.
Pre spotting:
Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase
chances
of removal.
Preconditioning:
A preconditioning agent is applied to break down traffic area soil and
general spots for more thorough cleaning.
Soil Extraction and Rinsing: Carpet Cops uses the industry's most advanced
truck-mounted carpet cleaning system, which will remove ground-in soil
and revive your carpet's appearance. The carpet is thoroughly cleaned
and rinsed with a powerful extraction system without over wetting the

Replace Furniture
– We will place your furniture back in place. Foam blocks or tabs
will be placed under wooden and metal legs. Please leave those blocks
and tab in place until the carpet is thoroughly dried.

Having your carpet, upholstery and/or
hard surface cleaned by Carpet Cops? Here are some suggestions that
will help both of us as you prepare for your cleaning:
- Please remove any small items such as dining room chairs, magazine racks, floor plants, etc. from any areas that are going to be cleaned.
- Please remove all breakable items from furniture which will have to be temporarily moved, cleaned under, and placed back.
- Please give us a quick vacuum of the area(s) to be cleaned.
- Please pin up any full-length draperies so that they will be at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Please pin up any skirts on upholstered furniture, which may be touching the carpet.
- Computer equipment, china cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, antique and fragile furniture cannot be moved. However, carpet underneath such items can be cleaned where sufficient room is available, or we can edge right around the base.
- During the pre-inspection walk-through with your technicians, please advise them of any special instructions to follow when moving your furniture. It is helpful to know about weak legs, loose tops or previous repairs.
- Please, call attention to any spots or stains which may require special cleaning techniques.
- Please put your pets in a safe, quiet place where our cleaning won't disturb them.
- A special note about odors: We do everything possible to reduce or eliminate pet odors. However, due to the depth of contamination, 100% success may not be attained and cannot be guaranteed. Also, for several days after cleaning you may notice an elevated odor due to higher humidity levels
- For safety sake, be sure to keep a very close eye on your curious little ones.
